The Latest West Ham Transfer & Rumours Round-up

West Ham United have currently signed no players, the only team in the Premier League to do so at this moment. Worrying.

We have put bids in for literally every single target that West Ham have come up with, I could name all of them, but I’ll be here forever. James Ward-Prowse is the most recent of them all.

An interesting quote from Jacob Steinburg reads “Moyes is pushing more for the likes of James Ward-Prowse, and it's a deal that I expect to get done in the end. I think Ward-Prowse wants to move to West Ham.”

Steinburg also adds how David Moyes wants Premier League experience. “Moyes very much would like to bring in Premier League experience. They brought in quite a few players from overseas last year and it didn’t really work out. Nikola Vlasic as well the season before, and that really didn’t work out.”

The Southampton captains' set-piece delivery is the best in the world and it would be a brilliant piece of business from West Ham if they were to meet Southampton’s valuation.

Another top target is Manchester City’s Carlos Borges. West Ham have beaten Borussia Dortmund in the race for him (Evening Standard) and are now apparently finalising the transfer. An explosive winger, with incredibly impressive stats in the Premier League 2 last season, scoring 18 goals and getting 11 assists in just 19 starts. Insane numbers. The deal is rumoured to be around £14 million and Manchester City are pushing for a buy back clause in the contract.

Another deal worth looking at is Manchester United’s very own Scott McTominay, who is valued at around £40m by Man United according to talkSPORT. David Moyes is looking to lean on his Red Devil connections to help him complete this deal. McTominay would bring power and strength into the midfield, with the likes of Paqueta and potentially Ward Prowse beside him bringing flair and dead ball scenarios to life.

Overall, this West Ham transfer window has been a shambles from a fans perspective. I do hope we wrap up the deals as soon as possible, with the season opener only around the corner.

We will keep you updated on any news.
