Hodgson, who turns 76 in August, is back managing Crystal Palace for a second stint after Patrick Vieira's recent sacking.
Palace haven't won any of their last 12 Premier League matches and are only three points above the drop zone with just 10 games remaining. They will now be looking to the former England manager for both tactical and morale changes going forward to help push for their Premiership survival. Hodgson has brought Paddy McCarthy along with him, while Ray Lewington returns as the first-team coach.
The Eagles' now look to retain their Premier League status with a huge challenge coming up at home to Leicester on April 1, following the international break.
